1. Look for a secure checkout

2. Check the full price before you pay
A good store shows the product price, sales tax and shipping cost before you confirm the order. If the total suddenly jumps at the last step, be careful. Our checkout shows the complete total, including sales tax for your state, up front.
3. Know when your order will arrive
"Ships soon" is not a delivery date. Look for an estimated arrival date at checkout and a tracking number after shipping.
4. Read the return policy
Before buying, find out:
- How many days you have to return an item
- Whether you need the original packaging
- Who pays for return shipping
- How long the refund takes
If a store has no clear return policy, that is a red flag.
5. Read real reviews — including the negative ones
Verified reviews from real buyers are more useful than star ratings alone. Look for comments about quality, sizing and delivery time, and check how the store responded to problems.
6. Compare the product details
Check the model number, size, materials and what is included in the box. Clear photos and specifications are a sign of a seller who knows the product.
7. Use a payment method with protection
Credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay offer strong fraud protection. Avoid stores that only accept wire transfers, gift cards or crypto for everyday products.
8. Keep your confirmation
Save the order confirmation email. It has your order number, which makes tracking, returns and support requests much faster.
